Comprehensive exam

Your smile matters to us, so your first oral health consultation at our clinic is completely free of charge.

All new patients receive a comprehensive oral exam at their first appointment. This is the best way to review what types of conditions are present, what treatment the patient has received the past and what are the patient’s current habits. It is also great way to get to know the patient and what they desire from us. We strongly believe that building a great relationship, one where patients are very comfortable, is the best way to encourage patients to maintain a healthy mouth.

The exam includes all aspects of the patient. It starts with a review of the patient’s medical conditions and medications. Then we review all current X-ray’s, followed by a complete dental and periodontal exam of the teeth and gums. We also assess if patient is grinding their teeth and if they have any joint pain of the Temporomandibular Joint. Lastly, we review if the patient has any cosmetic desire to correct their smile. After a complete assessment, a treatment plan is made and finances are reviewed with patient. We always strive to make sure the patients fully understand all aspects of the planned treat and spend the time to answer all their questions.
